No. Scans only read information about your system. GAIO PC Checkup tells you which updates are available and what to do — it doesn't install updates or change settings on its own.
Only if you agree. On first start you're asked whether to share diagnostic reports with GAIO support, and you can change your choice any time in Settings. Otherwise every report stays on your PC.
Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find GAIO PC Checkup and choose Uninstall. Your saved reports are kept in case you reinstall.
